Char vs Uncharred?
Charring the inside of an oak barrel is a common tradition when aging whiskey because of how it affects the flavor and character.
When you char the wood, you burn the inside to create a layer of charcoal that is intended to add deeper flavors of caramel, toffee, and vanilla due to the higher levels of carbon, which filter and react with the whiskey. New charred oak barrels are required for the production of bourbon, rye, and other American whiskeys.
When you don't char the wood, the whiskey will still be interacting with the wood but it will just have a lighter, less oaky flavor.

US Domestic Orders
Each order will be packed and shipped within 3 business days. Delivery times will vary on your location within the US but won't exceed 5-7 business days.
International Orders
Most international orders are shipped with UPS and will take 3-10 business days. All orders are subject to import duties and taxes. Artisan Oak LLC does not cover import duties or taxes.

I used to think your tumbler was a gimmick. I have to say I was extremely wrong. It truly enhances my bourbon enjoyment. I wish I bought these earlier. Definitely have recommended your tumblers to my friends. They're the only cup I drink my bourbon out of now.

My order was shipped to Canada. Took about 7 days. Not bad. I have been looking forward to this oak tumbler for a long time. Th e small out of the box was just what I hoped. Oaky smoky, Perfect ! I’m from Australia saw these online and regardless of the cost had to have one, also bought a shot glass and wax. It was understandable it took 2-3 months to receive them, however the packaging was second to none and it all arrived un damaged. Haven’t had a taste out of them yet but I’m sure it will be awesome.
