A great product, well designed and very sturdy.

I broke down and ordere one of these. I was a bit concerned after reading about the quality and customer service issues. I bought the white oak and wax. With shipping, it came to $79. Quite a lot for a cup. Those are the negatives. For the positive, I normally drink whiskey neat in a Glencarin glass and was anxious to compare the taste. I was very surprised. Because the cup is charred, you get a smooth and a little smokey taste. It seems to cut the bite even with bottled in bond whiskey. You do need to either purchase the wax or use some other wax to coat the outside. It protects the wood. Overall I'm very pleased with it. I may purchase another and if so, I'll get the cherry to compare the difference. Shipping was faster than I had expected. I've had no issues where I need to contact customer service.

Excellent for single malt whisky. I didn't believe the reviews that the tumbler improves the taste of whiskey but it does.

Excellent consistency, easy to apply. No aftertaste left behind.

For those complaining about leaks - it’s wood! Mine leaked. Followed the directions provided and no more leaks! Looking forward to many years of enjoyment!

Just recieved our tumbler and have not tried as yet. I thought it came with a sample of the protecive rub so I will wait until I order product before I try it.
Quality of the wood is quite nice but I was surprised to see it had a seam. Looking forward to trying it.

We bought a tumbler and the wood rub for my father in law and it’s been quite a discussion piece. The care items are necessary (especially for beginners). Love it!
