To keep your Artisan Oak tumbler looking beautiful and lasting for years, rinse it gently with warm water after each use. Avoid harsh soaps, dishwashers, or soaking, as these can strip the natural oils from the wood. After rinsing, wipe it dry right away with a soft towel, and every so often, refresh it with a light coat of our food-safe Wood Rub (included with each tumbler) to keep the oak nourished and protected. With simple care, your tumbler will age gracefully and deepen in character over time.

Because we don’t cut corners. Each Artisan Oak tumbler is turned from real white oak wood (the same wood used to age America’s best bourbon) and finished by skilled craftsmen right here in the USA. We finish each tumbler with beeswax sourced from American beekeepers and we pay our team a minimum of $20/hr so they can earn a livable wage.

These can hold up to 6 ounces when filled up completely. Most people pour around 1-2 ounces when sipping bourbon so our tumblers hold plenty enough.

Charring the inside of an oak barrel is an age-old tradition in whiskey-making, essential to developing the rich flavor found in every sip. When oak is charred, its surface transforms into a layer of natural charcoal, which enhances the whiskey in two key ways: filtration and flavor.

As the whiskey interacts with the charred wood, the carbon layer acts as a natural filter, mellowing harsh compounds while deepening the spirit’s character. At the same time, the intense heat caramelizes the oak’s natural sugars, unlocking signature notes of caramel, toffee, and vanilla. This process is so integral to American whiskey that new, charred oak barrels are a legal requirement in the production of bourbon, rye, and other whiskeys.
